Mars Denton-Studna
Design Director, Conceptual-Thinker, Human
I tirelessly push to create innovative design for brands such as Tennessee Tourism, Opry Entertainment, Kashi, Intel, The North Face, Lee, Ringling and more. I have contributed to multiple award-winning campaigns, brand identities, concert experiences, magazine and specialty books production, and international experiential installations. Through design, I strives to strengthen the bridges between humanity, empathy, sustainability, and technology. I spend most of my free time outdoors chasing my kids, running Luna the husky, or creating in my studio. A midwestern native, I studied visual communications and film and media at the University of Kansas. Rock Chalk!
Some Nice Words About Me…
Mars is like a narwhal swimming upstream with a group of unicorns and maybe a bigfoot (but like, a friendly one) on her back. She's extremely rare and special and you just kind of admire her with your mouth half open because....how could this combination actually exist?!
At the surface level, she is an incredibly talented artist. You can't be in her presence without being inspired and getting the bug to create things and look at the world with a new framing. BUT, and here's where the unicorn part comes in, she also has the incredible talent of understanding how beautiful art can serve brands and have a purpose. She's perceptive, intelligent, and can translate a business problem or a brief into the perfect solution you didn't know you needed. She thinks about things big-picture and is truly, relentlessly creative while still having the overall objective top-of-mind. She is also a thoughtful mentor, professional teammate, and on top of culture in ways that make me feel very old (in a good way!).
Basically, this is a long-winded way of saying she is the best of all worlds and anyone is so very lucky to work with her.
